I have lived in the Stanwood/Camano area since 1989 and graduated from Stanwood High School and Western Washington University with a Bachelors of Education. I have been a 3rd grade school teacher, landlord managing my own rental houses and VRBO’s, commercial building owner and renovator as the original pub owner of Leatherheads Pub and Eatery in Stanwood 2009-2014, and am currently a full-time firefighter paramedic for Camano Island Fire and Rescue, as well as a real estate broker for North 48. When not at work you might find me boating the San Juans in my 25’ C-Dory, being walked by my Golden Doodle, snowboarding, or spending time with family and friends.
Why Camano Island, Stanwood, or Warm Beach?
Snohomish and Island Counties are truly a beautiful place to live and raise kids. It is clear why the original Norweigan settlers chose Camano Island and Stanwood as their final destination as looking across Port Susan Bay to Warm Beach is like looking across the Fjords near Bergen, Norway. A variety of salmon fishing and dungeness crabbing is a popular activity for boaters all summer, the “South End” of the island has an influential art scene, and you can actually see the stars at night in your own backyard. Whether you are looking to relocate from “the city”, start a new family or business, or just looking to get closer to that sea salty air and seagull yeow, the Chad/Shelly team at North 48 team will help you find your piece of paradise. Why wait? You deserve it.
